Patient Safety – NY State Hospitals Must Adopt Best Practices on Sepsis

January 29, 2013

Governor Cuomo recently announced that all hospitals in New York will be required to use best practices to identify and treat sepsis, practices that are proven to save lives. Study after study shows that too many Americans die of medical mistakes. The Governor deserves credit for making patient safety a priority. We proudly belong to The New York State Trial Lawyers Association, a bar association that fights to improve patient safety and protect patients’ rights. Those who have suffered the real life impact of medical malpractice understand the need to preserve access to the civil justice system. If you or someone you know is a victim of medical malpractice, or has otherwise been harmed by the negligence of others, please contact us at info@oliveriandschwartz.com.
