Increasing Disclosure of Cell Phone Records

If you need another reason to not text and drive, consider this: we fully expect that complete disclosure of drivers’ (and passengers?) cell phone records will become a routine part of every car crash litigation. Whether you’re talking, texting, playing or checking out a website, attorneys will scrutinize precisely what you and your cell phone were doing just prior to and during the moments of the vehicle impact. Improved technology will only make your unsafe cell phone useage more transparent and readily accessible to insurance companies, defense counsel, judges and juries.
