Pradaxa Damages Cases – Pradaxa (dabigatran etexilate mesylate), a blood-thinning medicine, has been linked to heart attacks, uncontrolled bleeding, and death. Since its FDA approval in October 2010, through August 2011, approximately 371,000 patients were prescribed Pradaxa in the U.S. In November 2011, Boehringer Ingelheim, the German manufacturer of Pradaxa, confirmed about 260 cases of fatal bleeding worldwide were linked to Pradaxa.
